Receipts plus App Reviews

I had another receipt app that I thought was great but it no longer works, and theres no more support. I found this app and have been using it for a few weeks now. It mostly works good but one big flaw is theres no way to add parts to a long receipt, or one thats two sided. Thats a big issue unless you only purchase a few items. Also when you add payment type its hidden behind the main type. Hopefully the will do some updates.

All I need is a receipt organizer and this seems to be the only app that fits the bill

It keeps kicking me out when I try to put in a dollar amount!! Please fix this its soo irritating. Otherwise I think it would be a very helpful app for keeping track of my expenses

Pros include the ability to edit receipt info, including categories and subcategories (vs. an app like Lemon), and being able to track expenses by category. Cons: all receipt data MUST be hand entered; does not accommodate receipts that dont fit in one picture.

The more I use it, the more I like it. This app is clean and simple and very flexible. It lets me log, capture a receipt image, and categorize purchases quickly and easily. This app solves the problem of losing receipts and forgetting an expenditure by making it quick and simple to log on the spot while being flexible enough to allow me to customize my categorization lists and manage multiple businesses and hobbies all in one place. Thanks! Ive already put it on page 1 of my apps and predict i will use it often to track personal, business, trip, and hobby expenses. I love that I can add my own categories, sub-categories, and merchants easily, either when I set up or as I am adding a receipt. I have been using the image capture and email feature and it is simple to capture, crop, and retake an image if you need to. I am then able to email receipt images with my expense reports and upload expenditure details to a spreadsheet. I am now starting to capture deposit slips, so I have the details of each deposit logged in a subcategory I call "deposits." Suggestion: Id love to be able to send the spreadsheet and image files to a cloud app (preferably dropbox) so I can more easily merge the data into my existing tracking spreadsheet. A few additional features would easily make this 5 star for me: 1.Ability to edit list entries such as category, sub-category, etc. (I changed my mind as I was entering subcategories and had to delete and re-add several), 2.Report/filter by category, sub-category, merchant, user-entered fields, 3.Provide the total purchase amount of items selected for a report, 4.More flexibility (change format and optionally search by) user entered fields in receipts (the number field I entered defaults to currency, but I want to use it to log check number or confirmation number of a phone payment). I did figure out how to rename these user-defined fields but it wasnt obvious, and it wasnt obvious that the length of the name you give could prevent you from using the field. Even without these ideas, this app is a well done and flexible solution for me.

So far, so good! Love this app! Simple, easy to use, just what I needed. Nothing too complicated!!! Just wanted to track my monthly spending & this is a great way to do it.

Just downloaded entered a receipt, but when I take the pix of the receipt and it comes out blurry if you zoom to see details. Please please fix in next update. Then it will be a 5 star.

Ive been looking for an app to keep track of receipts- this is it! I do wish you could use a picture from camera roll for receipt- right now theres no way to 410 Slash Pine Ct. A receipt for purchases made on-line. A notes line would be great also!

Easy to navigate app. Started to use it as soon as I downloaded it on a trip. Camera function works well for taking pictures of receipts and it seamlessly creates reports. Simple email function sends the receipts and reports to the office or personal account. What else do you need? And, its free.

I find it very easy to use. Making some adjustments have been fairly painless. Looking forward to updates. Id recommend it to my business friends. Good work thus far.

Id add more report options like what is pent cash on vs credit... But I do like the organisation an user friendliness. Thank you

Since switching to an independent contractor position, this app has been great so I dont have piles of receipts and I can save the data on an Excel spreadsheet. Its simple but very useful.

Good application but receipts are hardly readable. Needs more image enhancing tools, kind a like scan pro.

I wanted to use this app to capture all of my receipts. But the image quality of the receipt pics was so poor I could not use the app for my intended purpose. I ended up deleting and going with another app. If they would fix that I would give it 5 stars.

I need an app that can take legible photos of a receipt for IRS purposes and this aint it!!

Ive been trying many receipt apps and this one looked the most promising. I like the organization tools but the scanned images are just too low resolution to even be used. Especially if you have a long receipt with many items. Fix this and this app is a 5 star winner.
